QI-X Rancho is our guest house at “La Fabrica”; an exclusive accommodation appealing equally to surfers and non surfers. La Bocana. A world class right and left breaking river mouth. The left is El Salvador's best and can be epic on a good swell. The right is a fast adrenaline rush that walls up in 50 meter lines when it's going off. La Bocana is still a relatively unknown prize to the majority of visiting tourists, and is accordingly highly praised by locals.
El Sunzal. Sunzal is a 200 Meter grinding right point break that is at the same time the most consistent wave in all of El Salvador, and the best learning wave in the country. Sunzal works from two feet up to 20 feet and is so long that there's almost always room for more surfers. Experts and locals will prefer the point, while advancing surfers tend to inhabit the forgiving and smaller inside.
La Bocanita. Bocanita is 200 meters of tropical beach break that fronts the town of El Tunco. Bocanita features great surf about 8 months of the year. This wave is usually favored by local kids and anyone visiting us from Florida.

Surfing. Rancho QI-X sits in front of the best left surf hand break in El Salvador. This rock bottomed rivermouth that walls up, barrels, and just generally surfs great almost all year, doing so almost crowd-free. This is a great wave for experienced surfers. Only a short paddle or stroll down the beach is the world famous 200 meter right hander Sunzal, a wave that works all year perfect for beginners and shredders. And we're only minutes and no more than a few hours from any of the dozens of point breaks and 200 kilometers of crowd free warm water surf of El Salvador surf. And only a short distance from Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama for complete Central American surf tour.
