This board is for bigger surfers and anyone who wants a learning board that they'll be able to rip on later. Maestro puts shortboard curves on a larger foundation, making for a great performance funboard. The keys to this board’s performance are its versatile performance squash tail, combined with real nose rocker for steep entries. And of course size, with the relatively flat rocker throughout and a thick middle, the Maestro takes off extremely fast and provides helpful flotation.Note that this is not the bulky funboard you may be used to seeing.Maestro is narrower and thinner than some of our other funboard options, providing the right amount of float and stability, but with the goal of maintaining performance characteristics.
