	Macaco Wins Seventh National Championship For the seventh straight time, Abner "Macaco" Rivera, has been crowned national champion of Guatemala. On a sunny day at La Impalizada, QI- X's first Guatemalan team rider, once again hoisted the trophy as the overall winner of the Guatemalan National Circuit. We'd like to say there was a lot of drama involved in the chase, but he pretty much ran away with this one again. With wins at Champerico, Paragon, Sipacate and Puerto San Jose, and never less than a third place finish, in the seven event series, Macaco sewed this seventh championship up in a tidy fashion. Now, with first place finishes in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 Macaco is undoubtedly Guatemala's most distinguished surfer and statesman.
